"But as the years passed still Maeglin watched Idril, and waited, and his love turned to darkness in his heart." J.R.R. Tolkien - The Silmarillion
This is my favorite drawing of all, till now, I consider it my master piece (you're totally allow to disagree, though). I almost felt in love with Maeglin XD but no, my only love is Maedhros ^_^ hehe
I'm so happy with the composition... and finally everyone got close to what they must be, after so many sketches -_-
To the unaware, the two blondies are Idril Celebrindal and Tuor son of Huor and the gorgeous dark-haired guy is Maeglin ^_^
7-2-07 I forgot to say that the title is a line from a song with the same title, sung by Blind Guardian.
Certainly speechless!! We have now reached to the top of your current habilities, I think! Congratulations! I do think is one of your best art till now!!

Thnak you ^_^
So you like Maeglin's "she's mine, go away" gaze? XD hehehe

It's been six years since last time I spoke and write english fluidly, the times while I was studying it. Afterwards, all was a descendant spiral of oblivion. Everything is coming up in these days, but please feel free to correct me whenever necesary.
And now, a phrasal change ^_^

this is lovely! I like the perspective, and the pose - I don't often find Idrils that I like (enough to suit my own picky tastes) or Maeglins or Tuors *lol* (especially Maeglin! wonderful!)
